Something our team hears a lot about from our pet parents about their reactive dogs is that their dogs have a tough time concentrating around other, and you know what? They are absolutely right! No different than you and I, every dog is an individual and will have different limits to what/when/where their triggers are. Once a dog reaches that limit and goes over it, his or her brain goes into a fight or flight mode and thus are no longer in "thinking" mode. This is why it's so important that we make the time to learn, understand, watch and catch our dogs BEFORE they get to that threshold level. Doing so, will allow us to use safe, encouraging and effective training methods to redirect and guide our dogs through that particular scenario and environment! Take a good look at this chart!
